I have had absolutely no time to fish lately. I have been absolutely swamped. We are in the lead up to a fishing trip to the Northern Territory and if all goes to plan you all might have a little surprise when we return.

I only had a couple of hours to spare so I ducked down to Nepean River with the kids in the hope of catching a few mullet.

After rigging up and having the float knocked about by the herring there was a bit and low and behold if it wasn't a little tacker Bass (as it is now winter all breeding size fish have moved down to the lower reaches). This little Bass took a piece of bread 30cm under a float.

We took a couple of small mullet and I ended up taking 2 carp also (on corn - standard for Nepean River)
