Hi All,

I fished all afternoon sunday I threw lures at snags that I know contain cod, we tried 3 different baits and dozens of different lures. We just could not get a strike. We found fish straight under us in a nice deep eddy and couldn't even finesse a bite with soft plastics. The water temp was 13 degrees and water level was low. It seems the pre winter feed up has now finished.

I spoke to several other fisherman who fished the weekend in the same river. One man caught a yellowbelly and no one else caught anything other than the odd carp on bait. Not much of a fishing report I know. I was so keen to write one but I have no fish pic to brag with. So here it is anyway.

Cheers all, I hope I have better news next time. We are going to try Burrendong dam for the long week end. Dicko..
