hi,just a simple tip can use on braid or mono ,mostly the first section of the line on your spool gets worn ,and the line under neath is unused ,when my braid gets a bit well used i go to somewhere like the local park ,with rod and reel ,tie up to a tree or something ,walk all my line out in a strait line until empty spool ,break off ,walk back to where i tied on worn end ,tie worn end back on spool ,wind it all back on ,now i have brand new line on to use and the worn stuff is deep under spool , scince i got told about this my lines last for ages ,hope this helps any one who did not know about it ,cheers.
