Can someone tell me what period is the best for spotlighting blue swimmer crabs?, and has anyone out there fished for the giant trevally in the richmond river or anywhere else in nsw or SE Queensland?, if so some tips on techniques, lures, bait tides, times and areas to catch them would be very much appreciated, I have recently moved to the northern rivers from sydney and am keen to get amongst some of the fish that weren't available to me down there, mangrove jacks are top of the list but information about catching those was easy to get from people around here, but not many people seem to know much about the GT's, though I know that they are caught in the richmond river at times.

cheers Brad
