Ranger, myself and pellipeel11 all meet at the Angus Inlet Boat Club this morning for a day's fishing on Ranger's boat. After launching the boat,Ranger asked if the bungs were in,which I thought was strange,as Ranger is very anal about pre-launch check list, but I did sight the bungs in just before the boat hit the water. Any-way off we went up through North Arm,and stopped at the Torrens Island bridge for an hour, and caught 17 S/T's a good start to the day, next stop the Shell wharf where we fished for another hour, but the howling N/W wind made it difficult to move around with the elec motor. So we decided to try the creeks and for a bit of shelter from the wind, and off we went.As we got under-way the back of the boat was suddenly filling with water. Hmmmmmm,some-thing wrong, sing's out Ranger,so we beached the boat, and Ranger tossed me and pellipeeli11 over the side to check the bungs, and to my surprise I tightened both bungs up by 1-1.5 turns each.So we sat there for a while waiting for the bilge pump to do it's work. But Ranger wasn't all that happy with that, and was thinking that there was alot of water in the boat, and could there be a crack in the hull. So we headed back to the boat ramp, and had a close look at the hull and no cracks to be found. By this time the wind was blowing pretty well so we decided to call it a day,and had a couple of coffee's at the boat club and told fishing story's... So the moral to this story is if you go fishing with Ranger, make sure you wear your budgie smugglers (speedo's),as Ranger has NO hesitation about throwing his crew over-board to check his BUNGS..

Still it was a good day's fishing, and thank-you to Ranger for taking myself and pellipeeli11 out on his boat...

PS:Pellipeeli11 I hope your bum heals soon after getting a treble in it,and having to have it removed by Ranger... Shocked Shocked

Old fishermen never die they just smell that way...
