Hi Guys, Is there a way to link to pictures not based on this website such as webshots. Part of the reason I not entering to many reports any more is that I find it a pain to have to upload the images all the time. Dan See my fishing galleries here...

Actually guys, its quite simple. You have a few options here. A) You could download the image onto your computer and then upload it to spooled using the 'Insert Image' feature. This is your best option as its fail-proof, however can be time consuming. B) You can enter an external image URL using the INSERT IMAGE dialog. Just select hit the 'An external image' button and follow the easy instructions. You are able to still set the display width and link, however keep in mind that the images will only display as long as they remain on the external server. C) For the very computer savvy, you are able to enter raw html using the following. (For serious players only) <html>HTML HERE</html>This is a great option if your image hosting provider supplies an 'Embed' option (as many do these days). Hope this helped out guys and let me know if you have any problems. :) Spooled administrator/programmer. |

Doesn't seem to display the image in the actual post when doing an external link.
See below link.

I'll let the programmers know you are still having problems Dan. They are tied up with transferring the Spooled site to a new server at the moment, so sorry for the delay in the response. The Spooled site is now 6GB and they are obviously being particularly careful to assure the transition is a smooth one and that no data is lost. |

D'day admin people, just making an inquiry as what a message means every time I click on to "create your own image gallery". I get this info you can see below .. Fatal error call to undefined function:edit_gallery_options 0 in/var/www/spooled/modules/spooled_profiles.inc.php online 105 As I'm a learn as I go computer user, this info above leaves me totally in the dark. I have been able to upload images from my computer to a site in USA with not too much drama,so I would be chuffed to upload my fishing pics on this site also. I really, really need assistance here so any little bit of knowledge you can pass on is lots more then I have now. Cheers - Wayne PS. What does Embed options mean & do.(sorry if I appear a bit of a dill but I've only had a computer thingy a few months).
