Whos excited? I sure as hell am! Only 41 days left including today in Victoria till the 08/09 season opens (27/07/08).

I sure am and with the rain we have been geting looks like it is going to be a ripper of a season where abouts are u targeting for opening and does anyone want to get together for a days fishing once season kicks in

im pumped i got all my fly gear and spinning gear ready. polished the backing, put new 2lb line and a spare spool of 4lb. im probably going to target the highlands up licola way, or the tyers river at the scout camp, or i might make a weekend of it and go 4wd and find myself some new stretches of river to target. tight lines

I'm not going to give any hints or locations where I'll be fishing fishing but, I'll let yours know how the opening goes.

Only twelve more days till the season opens. Gee I can't wait!

how did we all go on trout season opening. me and dad went to thompson river where i landed one of 2lb. then nothing else. later on moved to the tyers river where we caught 4 small ones

well it was cold were I was.went to william hovell but got one nice pan size brown on a pink tassie and about 6 redfin on plastics great day and cant wait to try my luck for rest of the season

I was lue fishing on Sunday morning after CFA, and as soon as I wound my lure in a Trout had a crack at the edge of my feet but didn't manage to hook up.

Oh well, theres always next time.
