Giday all,

Im off to Tassie on Feb 14th for 6 days and would appreciate any info I can get re charters, hire boats, best fishing spots and what gear to take. We are flying over and will be staying 2 nights in Gearge town, 2 nights in St Helens and 2 nights in Swansea. I was hoping to get on a charter but looks like they are pretty much booked out with the Tuna run. Any info at all would be very helpfull. Thanks

Kaz

Hi Karren,

Hi Kaz, I've just got back from Georgetown/Low Head - the guy in the Georgetown Sport and Fishing shop is very helpful - I don't know the address, but it's on the corner before you get to Woolies - you can't miss it. I don't know the number either, (this is sounding pretty useless isn't it?!) but can get it for you if you're interested....

Hi Karen,

I have done some checking for you and Michael Haley of Gone Fishing Charters www.breamfishing.com.au (www.breamfishing.com.au) is available on the 16/2/07 if you are interested. He can be contacted through his site.

I have contacted a few others for you but he was the first to respond and due to our lack of time I though I post straight away.

Let me know if you need any more info rick

Hi Karen,

David Simmons of Seal & Sea Adventure Tours (www.sealandsea.com) runs out of Georgetown and prefers to Speak rather then email. Has given me his mobile number to pass on 0419 357 028. There are also other contact numbers on his site if you cant get through.

His site is linked above.
