Have been fishing for about 22 years in both fresh and salt water, most of my time has been spent with soft plastics and small hard bodies chasing Esturey Perch and Bream but have been chasing Big flathead and snapper on plastics of late.

When I was young I thought that the ocean was an endless source of fish and other critters, how could I have been more wrong. As the years moved along I found a greater appreciation for the conservation of our waterways and the creatures that dwell within. Fortunately we live in a country that has authorities who attempt to maintain a regular fishery for years to come by outlining rules and regulations for us to follow. They are a good start to secure future fishing stocks, however, they still have room for improvement.

Have slowed down my involvment with Fishin Trip and filming less to concentrate on more actual fishing. I am still spending about six days a week on the water at the moment and some how that dont seem to be enough. Not enough days in the week or hours in the day to fit all the fishing I want to do in.
